About Esma & Contact.
Thanks for visiting! My career has centered around corporate citizenship, value sharing and the intersection of business and human rights.
I’m currently a responsible business conduct policy advisor in government, advising governments, companies, and civil society on embedding respect for human rights, corporate social responsibility and value sharing into corporate governance and communications. My insights are informed by my anthropological background, fieldwork and technical expertise in standards like the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the IFC Performance Standards including 7+ years of experience dedicated to responsible mineral supply chains through promotion, developing tools and guidance and conflict resolution.
I currently sit on global working groups for social and environmental compliance, speak English, Spanish, French and Arabic and hold a Master of Anthropology with a concentration in corporate citizenship and cultural dimensions of sustainability.
